The Jaguars are getting run off the field in Detroit.
The Lions scored on all four of their first-half possessions and lead spiraling Jacksonville 28-6 at halftime. The Jaguars are 2-8 and looking at possible regime changes as head coach Doug Pederson and the team continue to slide. Since an 8-3 start last year, the Jaguars are just 3-13.
The Jaguars put together two solid drives, their first one, which ended in a career-long 59-yard field goal from rookie Cam Little, and the final one before half and a 35-yard field goal by Little.
It’s been an all-around disaster.
Detroit has 306 yards on 34 plays.
They mustered just one first down after that and failed to slow down the Lions. David Montgomery has a couple rushing touchdowns and Jahmyr Gibbs has another. Jared Goff tossed a 27-yard touchdown to Amon-Ra St. Brown with just under three minutes to play in the half to pour on the offense.
Mac Jones started his second game in place of the injured Trevor Lawrence and has thrown for 81 yards. Jacksonville is coming off a 143-yard performance in a Week 10 loss to the Vikings. That total is the fifth-lowest total in franchise history.
