Free agent guard Courtney Vandersloot is headed again to Chicago, her agent confirmed to The Related Press on Wednesday.
The veteran guard will signal with the group that drafted her in 2011 after spending the final two seasons in New York, agent Lindsay Kagawa Colas stated. WNBA free brokers can’t signal contracts till Feb. 1.
Vandersloot is Chicago’s all-time help chief and is second in WNBA historical past behind Sue Chicken.
She helped the Sky win the franchise’s first WNBA title in 2021. Now she’ll present veteran management to the younger group that is led by the frontcourt duo of Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso.
The Chicago Solar Instances was the primary to report the transfer.
