The American determine skating group suffered extreme losses on Wednesday night time as six individuals with ties to the Skating Membership of Boston have been on board a passenger airplane when it collided with a U.S. Military helicopter.

The Skating Membership of Boston CEO Doug Zeghibe recognized these with ties to the membership as athletes, Jinna Han and Spencer Lane, two coaches, Vadim Naumov and Evgenia Shishkova, and Jin Han, the mom of Jinna, and Molly Lane, the mom of Spencer, have been recognized because the victims with ties to the skate membership.
“Our sport and this Membership have suffered a horrible loss with this tragedy,” Zeghibe stated in an announcement posted to social media. “Skating is a tight-knit group the place dad and mom and youngsters come collectively 6 of seven days every week to coach and work collectively. Everyone seems to be like household. Of the skaters, coaches and fogeys on the airplane, we imagine six have been from The Skating Membership of Boston. We’re devastated and fully confused.

“These athletes, coaches, dad and mom have been getting back from U.S. Determine Skating’s Nationwide Growth Camp, following final week’s U.S. Championships in Wichita. This camp is for younger aggressive skaters of tomorrow with the promise to be a champion of tomorrow. The membership despatched 18 athletes to compete on the U.S. Championships. Dmitry Peskov, a Kremlin spokesman, confirmed earlier Thursday that Naumov and Shishkova have been amongst these on board the airplane.
Naumov and Shishkova competed in pairs throughout their careers. They gained a pairs title on the 1994 world championships and competed on the Winter Olympics twice.
U.S. Determine Skating stated there have been members of its group on board as properly.

The Worldwide Skating Union stated it was “deeply shocked” over the incident.
