Mexico is not going to enable the U.S. authorities to ship Mexican migrants to the Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, detention camp, Mexico’s international minister stated on Tuesday.
International Minister Juan Ramon de la Fuente stated Mexico would relatively immediately obtain the migrants.
The Mexican authorities despatched a diplomatic notice to the U.S. embassy in Mexico to elucidate its place.
This comes after White Home press secretary Karoline Leavitt advised reporters Tuesday that the Trump administration has begun flying detained unlawful migrants from the U.S. to Guantánamo Bay, though she didn’t specify the nationalities of the folks on these flights.

Final week, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel referred to as Trump’s effort to ship 30,000 migrants to Guantánamo an “act of brutality.”
