The well-known financier Sir Evelyn de Rothschild left the financial institution which bears his household identify after an investigation into sexual misconduct in 2003, it has emerged.
De Rothschild, who died two years in the past, was a number one determine in British banking, and monetary adviser to Queen Elizabeth.

“We have now discovered no document of another criticism referring to Sir Evelyn,” the memo added.
The Guardian report stated that a minimum of eight sources had alleged that Sir Evelyn used his place on the financial institution to abuse ladies who labored with him.
The ladies felt unable to lift their considerations on the time due to Sir Evelyn’s place on the financial institution and in society, the article stated.
In addition to his position advising the Queen, Sir Evelyn occupied a distinguished place in British life, and was chairman of the Economist and on the board of the corporate which owned the Every day Telegraph.
He spent greater than 40 years on the household agency, together with 28 years as chair of NM Rothschild, the group’s UK-based funding financial institution.
He was knighted in 1989.
