A US appeals court docket on Tuesday blocked the Biden administration’s 2024 rule on upfront disclosure of airline charges, saying the Transportation Division had not complied with procedural guidelines.
Tuesday’s ruling despatched the rule again to the Transportation Division to provide it an opportunity to deal with the procedural errors.
Laws issued by the Transportation Division in April required airways and ticket brokers to disclose service charges alongside the airfare, in a transfer to assist shoppers keep away from unneeded or surprising charges.
