JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4JAX Super 6 girls high school basketball rankings will be published each Tuesday — except during the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas — through the regular season. Records are through Jan. 20.

Quality wins: Bartram Trail, Bishop Kenny, Florida Deaf, Gainesville, Haines City, Potter’s House, Ribault (twice), Seffner Christian, Somerset Prep, Spruce Creek, Tocoi Creek
Notable: The Bulldogs are back in the No. 1 spot after a high-quality week of work. Bolles beat Bartram Trail (70-34), rival Bishop Kenny (40-36) and then a talented Potter’s House (50-36) team. Beachside on Tuesday and San Jose Prep on Thursday round out the week for Bolles. Abby Knauff (14.8 ppg), Evie Freeman (13 ppg), Presley Norman (12.9 ppg) and Terrell McCoy (11.9 ppg) give Bolles arguably the area’s best lineup.
2. (1) Providence (14-6, Class 2A)
Quality wins: Bartram Trail, Bolles, Creekside, Oakleaf, Hawthorne, Nease, Ridgeview, SLAM Academy, Somerset Academy-Canyons, Trinity Catholic, West Port
Notable: The Stallions went 2-1 since our last update, with big wins over Trinity Christian and Nease, and then a tight loss (56-50) to a high quality Williston team.
3. (3) Bishop Kenny (17-4, Class 4A)
Quality wins: Camden County, Godby, Keswick Christian, Marietta (Ga.), Nease, Paxon, St. Petersburg, Rickards, Sparkman (Ga.), Tocoi Creek, Trinity Catholic.
Notable: A 2-1 mark for Kenny since our last Super 6. The Crusaders beat a strong Rickards team (34-18) and Nease (44-34) and lost to No. 1 Bolles (40-36). Kathleen Crawley (15.5 ppg) leads Kenny.
4. (4) Potter’s House (14-4, independent)
Quality wins: DME Regional, Haines City, Lake Region, Montverde Gold, St. Thomas Aquinas
Notable: A 2-1 mark since our last Super 6, with a quality win over Montverde Gold (39-37) and a romp over FAMU DRS. They also had a loss to No. 1 Bolles (50-36). Alanna Tatum (12.3 ppg) andf Sara Dagba (12.3 ppg) are leading the Lions.
5. (5) Ridgeview (14-3, Class 5A)
Quality wins: Baker County, Bishop Kenny, Eagle’s View, Fletcher, Ponte Vedra
Notable: The Panthers are the area’s hottest team, stretching their winning streak to nine games. Since our last Super 6, they beat Fleming Island, The Rock, Baker County and Keystone Heights. Their 54-39 win over Baker and 50-43 win over Fleming were the two best in that stretch. Narissa Blocton is averaging 19.4 ppg and Nacoya Blocton is at 13.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
T6. (NR) Ribault (15-8, Class 4A)
Quality wins: Atlantic Coast, Bishop Kenny, Eagle’s View, Gainesville, Godby, Raines, Rickards, Ridgeview
Notable: The Trojans won the Gateway title last week with a 72-60 win over a Jackson team that has been in the Super 6 this season. The Trojans are a good pick for a district title. They round out their regular season with a trip to Orange Park Jan. 27. Trinity Berry (15.6 ppg), Terrannya Medlock (13.1 ppg) and Destiny Donaldson (12.7 ppg) lead Ribault.
T6. (6) San Jose Prep (11-7, Class 2A)
Quality wins: Beachside, Lakewood, Lake Region, NFEI, Orange Park, Ribault, Tampa Catholic.
Notable: The Storm bounced back from a loss to Potter’s House with a 64-50 win over Beachside since our last Super 6. They visit No. 1 Bolles on Thursday to round out the week.
