MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers have unveiled a patch they may put on on their uniform this season to honor longtime broadcaster Bob Uecker, who died final month.
The patch will seem on the sleeve of the Brewers’ uniforms. It options Uecker’s signature over a gold-and-navy plaid print to honor the varied sportscoats he sometimes wore.
The patch was launched Monday and can make its debut when the Brewers open their preseason schedule Feb. 22 by going through the Cincinnati Reds in Phoenix.
Uecker died Jan. 16 on the age of 90. He had accomplished his 54th season of broadcasting Brewers video games final 12 months whilst he battled small cell lung most cancers.
