Davante Adams a surprise injury question mark for Week 17

Davante Adams was a surprise addition to the Jets’ injury report on Wednesday.

The star wide receiver was listed with a hip injury, which is new.

The Jets did not practice Wednesday, so the injury report is an estimation.

Adams was listed as he would not have practiced.

Adams, who turned 32 Tuesday, finished Sunday’s game against the Rams.

He had seven catches for 68 yards and a touchdown.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was listed as a full participant in practice.

Rodgers is dealing with a knee injury, but he said Tuesday that he would definitely play Sunday against the Bills.

Cornerback Sauce Gardner, who left Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury, would not have practiced.

CB Michael Carter II (back), DE Braiden McGregor (ankle), RT Morgan Moses (knee) and RG Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle) were also listed as not participating.

S Tony Adams (ankle), DE Haason Reddick (neck), LG John Simpson (calf) and DT Quinnen Williams (hamstring) were listed as limited participants.

That is a positive sign for Williams, who sat out last week’s game.
