5 skiers killed in French Alps avalanches

5 skiers had been killed in two separate avalanches within the French Alps on Wednesday, native officers have confirmed.

One torrent of snow got here in Val-Cenis, within the south-eastern Savoie area, killing 4 Norwegian skiers, whereas a Swiss skier died additional north within the Haute-Savoie area, close to Chamonix.
