House Tour | Melissa George

The actress gives a tour of her home in Provence, which she’s filled with delicate details like floral furniture and a pink marble sink.

[MUSIC PLAYING] Hi, I’m Melissa George, and welcome to my home in Provence. This is the name that was given to the home by the sword nobility. Diego Delgado-Elias, the architect, really thought about making this a female, woman, feminine home. So this is my favorite room in the entire chateau. It’s a custom made kitchen. This is the ancient lavoir, where one would wash their clothes. So sometimes late at night, I start looking for random objects. And the best one I found was a half-ton pink marble sink from Bordeaux. I love this room because it’s so feminine. It’s just overdose of flowers. Ancient 17th century tapestries that were used as doors. Wait until you see these beds. The most beautiful piece of furniture in the entire chateau are these handmade 16th century beds. You can escape out the window. Also known as the yellow room. A signature trait of Diego, to screw just one light directly into the tapestry. The bibliotheque. Oh my God. Welcome to the dining room. Again, Diego’s signature of the sconces screwed into the tapestry. Enough plates for 300 people. We demolished a wooden bathroom in Cap d’Antibes and reconstructed it here. My bedroom. An original Gabriella Crespi crib. [BABY CRYING] I think the baby’s hungry.
