JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars are in the dealing mood.

According to a report from the NFL Network, Jacksonville are trading left tackle Cam Robinson to the Vikings on Tuesday night, clearing the way for Walker Little to take over that spot as the team begins to think about the future in the face of a massively disappointing season.

Terms of the trade were not disclosed, only that Jacksonville is receiving draft compensation for Robinson.

The move comes a week before the NFL trade deadline and signals that the Jaguars are looking at the future a bit harder now. At 2-6, Jacksonville’s season is unlikely to result in a trip to the playoffs. Robinson was a second-round pick by the team in 2017 and has held the left tackle spot since then with a few exceptions.

He missed all but two games of his second season with a torn ACL and also missed a large portion of 2023 after a four-game suspension for performance enhancing drugs and also injury. Robinson went in the concussion protocol after the Week 7 game and spent Week 8′s loss to the Packers as a backup.
