Saquon Barkley’s monster game sends Eagles to NFC Championship

The Eagles are running their way to the NFC Championship game on the legs of Saquon Barkley.

The former Giants running back broke off touchdown runs of 62 and 78 yards — the second of which proved to be the deciding score in Philadelphia’s snowy 28-22 win over the Rams in the divisional round on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles advance to face their NFC East rival and playoff surprise Commanders on Sunday with a trip to Super Bowl 2025 at stake.

Barkley carried the ball 26 times for 205 yards and the two scores.

Jalen Hurts also added a 44-yard scoring run to open the game for the Eagles.

Matthew Stafford threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Colby Parkinson with 2:48 left in the game to help pull the Rams within a score.

Los Angeles forced the Eagles to go three and out on their next drive, but the Rams’ push to win the game ended at the Philadelphia 22-yard line.
