Trump says Putin agrees to start out negotiations to finish battle in Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has stated he had a “prolonged and extremely productive” telephone name with Vladimir Putin on Wednesday wherein the leaders agreed to start negotiations to finish the battle in Ukraine.

In a publish on his Reality Social platform, Trump stated he and the Russian president had “agreed to have our respective groups begin negotiations instantly” and that he would start by calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to tell him of their dialog.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated Putin supported Trump’s concept that the time had come to work collectively.

He added that the telephone name lasted almost an hour and a half, throughout which Putin invited Trump to go to Moscow.

Ukraine’s presidency later confirmed Zelensky had acquired a telephone name from Trump, which lasted an hour, in response to AFP information company.

The information comes as US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth instructed members at a Nato summit that it was “unrealistic” to count on Ukraine to return to its pre-2014 borders.
