SAALBACH-HINTERGLEMM – American skier Breezy Johnson gained gold within the ladies’s downhill on the Alpine snowboarding world championships on Saturday.

Johnson completed 0.15 seconds forward of silver medalist Mirjam Puchner of Austria. Czech skier Ester Ledecka got here 0.21 behind in third to take bronze.

Lindsey Vonn trailed her American teammate Johnson by 1.96 seconds in fifteenth.
